Ingredients forย Tzatzikiย Sauce:
1 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 Cup of Gold Creek Farms’ Finely Crumbled Feta
1/4 Cup of Finely Chopped Cucumber
1/4 Cup of Finely Chopped Roma Tomato
1/4 Cup of Finely Chopped Red Onion
1 Teaspoon of Lemon Zest
1 Tablespoon of Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Grated Garlic Clove
1 Tablespoon of Fresh Chopped Dill
Salt to Taste
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine tzatziki sauce ingredients and salt to taste. Set aside.
Ensure the grill grates are clean and bring grill to medium-high heat. In a large bowl, combine the patty ingredients and stir to throughly combine. Divide patty mixture into 4 equal balls and form into patties (make sure they are slightly larger than your buns as they will shrink a bit while cooking). Press down the center of each patty with a thumb indent (this ensures even cooking). Place patties over direct heat for 5 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side for an additional 5 minutes or until the burgers have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, place burger buns on indirect heat for about one minute (just enough to throughly warm the buns and char slightly). Brush each bun with melted butter. Slice vine tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and place tomato slices on the bottom of each bun. Place burger patties on top of tomatoes and top with tzatziki sauce. Enjoy!
