Easy-Peasy Pasta Carbonara to Love this February 💕

8 Slices of Chopped Cooked Bacon, Ham, or Chickpeas/Beans (if vegetarian)
1 Cup of Chopped Cooked Shrimp, Cooked Chicken, or Tempeh/Tofu (if vegetarian)
1 Cup of Chopped Cooked Veggies (we used peas, tomatoes, onion, and garlic)
2 Large Eggs
1 Cup of Shredded Gold Creek Farms Parmesan
16 Ounces of Spaghetti
Cook pasta according to package directions, reserving 2 cups of hot pasta water (it is important to keep it hot). While pasta is cooking, combine the eggs and cheese in a small bowl. Mix protein and veggies in a pan over medium heat until heated thoroughly. Add cooked pasta and 1/2 cup of hot pasta water. Quickly stir in egg and cheese mixture. The key is to stir and add quickly to avoid scrambling the eggs. This process cooks the eggs and creates a silky, smooth sauce. Add additional pasta water if needed.
