8 Servings

Total Time: 1 Hour and 30 Minutes

1 Pie Crust in Pie Pan (Premade Frozen or Homemade – You Choose!)

1 TBS Olive Oil

3 Cups Fresh Broccoli, Chopped

3 Green Onions, Chopped

1 TSP Garlic, Minced

5 Large Eggs

1 1/4 Cup Milk

1 Cup Gold Creek Farms Aged White Cheddar, Shredded

1/4 TSP Salt and 1/4 TSP Pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place a piece of parchment paper inside the pie pan on top of the pie dough and add 2 cups of pie weights (dry beans or rice). Bake for 15 minutes. Remove parchment paper and pie weights. Prick pie crust all over with a fork, then return to the oven for 8 more minutes. Turn oven down to 350 degrees. Remove pie crust and let cool.

Meanwhile, in a large frypan, heat olive oil on medium heat. Add the chopped broccoli, green onions, and garlic. Sauté until the broccoli is slightly tender. Remove pan from heat and let cool.

In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs and milk. Whisk until well combined. Season with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Layer 3/4 cup of shredded cheese on top of cooled pie crust. Sprinkle the broccoli, onion, and garlic mixture over the cheese and spread into an even layer. Pour the egg and milk mixture over the top and sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of cheese. At 350 degrees, bake quiche for 45-50 minutes or until set on top. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
